Catherine (Katy) Ann Robinson Seilkop, 87, of Greenfield, Ohio passed away August 5, 2024. Katy was born October 20, 1936, on a farm in Fayette County, the daughter of Howard (Softy) Robinson and Laura McGarraugh Robinson.
She is survived by her daughter Barbara Burton (Jeff Burton) of Columbus, Ohio and her three beloved grandchildren: Josh Burton of Dyer, Indiana, Molly Belkofer (Ross Belkofer) of St. Cloud, Florida and Megan Burton of Cincinnati, Ohio. She is also survived by nieces Susan Copeland of Ft. Meyers, Florida, Jan Wilson (Lonnie Wilson) of Greenfield, Ohio, Anne Quinn (Bill Quinn) of Washington Court House, Ohio, Margaret Whitaker (Greg Whitaker) of Blackey, Kentucky, Krissy Bach of Columbus, Ohio, nephew Mark Hunter (Jessalyn) of Greenfield, Ohio and sisters-in-law Wanda Robinson of Washington Court House, Ohio and Mindy Hunter (Steve Hunter) of Greenfield, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her husband Richard E Seilkop, her parents and three brothers: Donald (Softy) Robinson, Edward Robinson, and John Robinson.
She worked for many years at Leesburg Federal Savings and Loan in Greenfield as a teller. She also worked as the Treasurer of the Presbyterian Church in Greenfield. She loved her house on North Street and loved visiting with friends and family. She especially loved being with her daughter and her three grandchildren. She also never met a cat she didn't love.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday August 12, 2024 at Anderson-Ebright Funeral Home, Greenfield with Pastor Mike Anderson officiating. Burial will follow the service in Greenfield Cemetery. Visitation is from 11:00 am to the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Stained-Glass Restoration Fund of the Greenfield Presbyterian Church, 457 Jefferson Street, Greenfield, OH 45123.
