Catherine Ullmann

Catherine Ullmann, 88, of Freehold, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born in Staten Island, New York, Catherine moved to New Jersey in 1971 and settled in Freehold more than 15 years ago. Before her retirement, she served as Manager of the Fraud Department for the Federal Reserve in Cranford.

Catherine's greatest joy in life was her family. She treasured every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who were the center of her world. Her warmth, strength, and unwavering love will be remembered always.

She was predeceased by her adored husband of 32 years, Ronald Ullmann, who passed away in 1997. Catherine is survived by her loving children, Kathy Mackin and her fiancé, Joe Driesse; Debbie Fratto; Mark Scully; and Tina Adamovich and her husband, Tim. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Tiffany Deleto and her husband, Dominick; Michael Fratto and his partner, Ariel; Sean Mackin and his wife, Jean; and Tara Wilson and her husband, Brian. Her legacy continues through her beloved great-grandchildren, Ella, Dominick, Kendall, Harper, Cooper, Delaney, and Gino.

She is further survived by her dear siblings, Carol Matusek and her husband, Frank; and George Kaufmann and his wife, Madeline, along with many other relatives and friends who will miss her deeply.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 4-8pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin. A service will be held on Wednesday at 10:30am at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home with an entombment to follow at Holy Cross Burial Park in Jamesburg.
