Catherine Ulshoefer

Catherine Mary Ulshoefer (nee Roberts), 76, of Cresskill NJ, devoted wife, sister, mother and grandmother was called home on January 29, 2023. Born on October 11, 1946 in New York City to John and Mary Roberts deceased. Catherine began her career at Little Ferry Public Schools. She suspended teaching to raise her two children. Her commitment to education continued while working as a teacher for Bergen County Special Services in St. Cecelia's School in Englewood and finally onto the role of technology staff developer.
Catherine was the beloved wife of 55 years to Robert Ulshoefer. Loving mother of both Michael and his wife Jennifer McNamara, and Christopher. Devoted grandmother to Sean, Daniel, Elizabeth, Gwyneth, Ashley, Erin, Kaylee and Madison. Cherished sister of Dr. Patrice Roberts. Catherine (Bobbi) leaves behind many loving cousins, dear friends and her heartbroken pet Brady.
Catherine loved spending time with her grandchildren. She attended every sporting event, school function, honored VIP in Cresskill schools, Grandparents Day and Legacy Angel at the Academy of Holy Angels. She cherished creating memories with her family at Ocean Beach NJ and many trips to Disney World. During time not spent with her family, she attended knitting class, read books, finished puzzles, cheered for the NY Jets and socialized with friends. Catherine's patience, open- mindedness, compassion and will to never give up will stay with us always. She is a parishioner of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church in Cresskill.

Visitation February 2nd, 2023 from 3pm – 5pm and 7pm – 9pm at Barrett Leber Funeral Home, 148 Dean Drive, Tenafly. Funeral Mass on February 3rd, 2023 at 10am at St. Therese of Lisieux Church, 120 Monroe Ave, Cresskill. Internment to immediately at Mt Carmel Cemetery, 10 Serpentine Rd, Tenafly.
