Cathern Lucille "Tootie" Feil, age 79, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on September 23, 2025, after a long battle with dementia.

Mrs. Feil was born November 17, 1945, in New Castle, to Chauncey L. and Betty Marie (Cooper) Ward.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Fredrick Larry Feil, whom she married October 25, 1968.

Following her 1963 graduation from Laurel High School, she attended New Castle Beauty School and became a self-employed beautician for 50 years.

Cathy enjoyed crocheting and helping others by preparing meals in their time of need. She was an active member of First Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Dyann Marie (Dale) Marlowe of Dayton, Ohio; one son, Fredrick Larry Feil, II of New Castle; one brother, David L. (Linda) Ward of New Castle; two sisters, Judith L. Zarlengo of Bessemer and Linda L. (Thomas) Walker of New Castle; seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 26, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A one-hour visitation will take place Saturday morning at 10:00 at First Baptist Church, 984 West Maitland Lane, New Castle with a funeral service following at 11:00.

Burial will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Three Rivers Hospice, 3100 Wilmington Road, New Castle, PA 16105.
