Cathryn Mary Hradowsky
Cathy, age 63, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away December 10, 2025, at MyMichigan, Saginaw, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. She was born on September 28, 1962, in Wayne County, Detroit, Michigan, and later made her home in Hale, Michigan.
She had a passion for the simple joys-she loved her cats, her grand doggy Balboa, the Detroit Tigers, fishing, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. Above all else, Cathy loved her daughter and granddaughter deeply and found great joy in being their mom and grandma. She kept her faith in Jesus up until the very end.
Cathy is survived by her daughter, Kristin Short (Kinyon); her son-in-law, Patrick Short; her treasured granddaughter, Shaelyn Short; her brother, Johnny Hradowsky; and her sister, Tina Kotch. She will also be deeply missed by some dear friends whose lives she touched.
Cathy's love, laughter, and spunky sense of humor will be remembered always. Though she will be greatly missed, those who knew her take comfort in knowing she is now at peace in the presence of the Lord she loved.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20th, 11 am, at Hale Assembly of God Church in Hale. With a luncheon to follow.
