Cathy Barlow

M. Catherine "Cathy" Barlow, 85, of the Dogwood section of Levittown, passed away peacefully on October 5th, 2025.
Preceded in death by her late husbands, Voorhees William Johnson, Jr. and Richard Barlow, Cathy was the beloved mother of Denise (Chris), Reneé (Phil), and Ray (Asia). She was the proud grandmother of Ryan, Dylan, Morgan, Corinne, Justin, and Drew, and a loving great-grandmother to Teagan, Luxis, AJ, and Willow.
Alongside her late husband Richard, Cathy built a life rooted in love, hard work, and faith. Together, they operated a family firearms business - a legacy she proudly carried on throughout her life. Cathy loved her country deeply and was proud to be an American, often expressing her strong sense of patriotism and respect for those who served.
She found beauty in the simple things - tending her garden, watching the birds, and especially her cherished hummingbirds. For a short but meaningful time, she shared a special bond with Luna, her son's rescue dog; the two brought joy and comfort to each other's lives.
Cathy's faith in Jesus was the foundation of everything she did. A devoted member of Calvary Chapel, she lived her life with kindness, generosity, and a heart open to everyone. To know her was to love her - she made it easy. Her warmth, giving spirit, and faith-filled love touched all who were blessed to know her.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Cathy's life at Calvary Chapel, 13500 Philmont Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19116, on Wednesday, October 15th, 2025. Viewing will begin at 10:00 AM, with a service to follow.
Her family finds comfort knowing she is reunited with her beloved husband Richard and resting peacefully in the arms of her Savior.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to organizations supporting aplastic anemia research or heart disease foundations, causes close to the family's heart.
Cathy will be deeply missed, but her love, faith, and patriotism will continue to shine through the lives of her family and everyone who knew her.
