Cathy attended school where she grew up in Boron, Ca and graduated as a Boron high school Bobcat. She was a very strong, kind, caring, big hearted and loving daughter, sister, wife and mother. She was outgoing, always there to listen, give advice and when she could... a helping hand, in most cases putting others before herself. She had a beautiful smile that would light up any room. She was a big teaser and loved to joke around. Cathy's children were her whole heart and she always let them know she loved them. She was a constant presence in their lives never missing a holiday, activity, parade, concert, or ceremony.
Cathy's favorite color was red, she loved playing cards, watching movies, game shows, the Masked singer and Asian dramas. She was absolutely obsessed with Sammy's tamales, El Pollo loco and guacamole! She was an avid collector and lover of angel figurines and adored butterflies.
Cathy is survived by her siblings Gary VanHorn, Ken VanHorn, (Sisters/brother in Law) Katherine Cole, Tony and Deborah Farnsworth, (daughters) Sarah Cole, Ashley Cole, Megan Cole, (nieces) Devi Cole Steele, Katelyn Quinn Cole, Tracy Hall, Tonda Hall, and her (nephew) Joe Cole plus aunts, uncles, cousins and great nieces and nephews.
