Cathy Ann Condi, 61, of Evansville, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at the IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Cathy was born on September 26, 1963, in Evansville to the late William and Etta Mae (Shanks) Blum. She owned and operated the children's daycare facility, Jellybean Junction, for many years and also worked as a salesperson for Mary Kay Cosmetics. She enjoyed traveling with her family, painting, crafts and was a member of the SCCA (Sportscar Club of America). More than anything Cathy loved her family, friends and her daycare families throughout the years.
Surviving Cathy are her husband of twenty-nine years, Paul Condi, Jr; daughters, Maggie Avis and Kathryn (Steve) Cain; sons, Zachariah (Lisa) Condi and Stan (Holly) Birdwell-Condi; a sister, Diana (Greg) Meador; brothers, Bobby (Natalie) Blum and David (Doodle) Blum; grandchildren, Andrea, Johanna, Jada, Blake, Audrina, Jacqueline and Cyrus and a great granddaughter, Natalie.
In addition to her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by her second mother, Helen Birdwell; aunt who helped raise her, Louise Overton and sisters, Roxanne Inkenbrandt and Janna Rolley.
At this time there will be no formal funeral services held. There will be a celebration of life held at a later date. Pierre Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the IU School of Medicine, c/o the IU Foundation, Neuroscience Research, In Memory of Cathy Condi, PO Box 7072, Indianapolis, IN 46207-7072.
