Cathy Ann Crabtree

Cathy Ann Crabtree 12/10/1960-07/29/2024 Cathy Ann Crabtree, age 63, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2024, at her home in Cartersville, Georgia. Born to parents Dion and Claire Brown, Cathy,
with her six brothers and sisters,
spent most of her youth in her
hometown, Goldsboro, North Carolina. In her early young-adult life, her family moved to a town
called Rocky Top, Tennessee, where she
finished grade-school, graduated
nursing school and met the love of her life, her husband, Hoyle Crabtree.
Cathy and her husband, Hoyle, decided early into marriage that they were going to move further
south to a small town in Georgia,
called Cartersville, this is where Cathy
spent the majority of her life. While in Cartersville, she continued to pursue her career and
passion, nursing, for over thirty
years. That is what she loved to do the most, care for others. Along with nursing,
she also enjoyed crafting, shopping
with her best friend, spending time
with family and time with her puppy, Effy.
Cathy is preceded in death by her parents Dion and Claire and sisters Diane and Donna. She is
survived by brothers Micheal and
Stanley, sisters Cindy and Patti, nephews
Robert, Steven 'Bubba' and Dion, nieces Laura, Haven and Briley, best friend Denese 'Sister'
Allen, her puppy AKA her favorite
companion Effy Mae Crabtree and many
more family members, friends and neighbors.
A graveside service for family and friends will be held at 9:00am on August 2nd, 2024 at Georgia National Cemetery.
