Cathy Ellen Crabtree, age 65 years, of the Beulah Heights Community died Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky.
She was born in Jellico, Tennessee the daughter of Tommy Frost and Katie (Bryant) Rose. Cathy was a homemaker and a Christian. She enjoyed painting, camping, the beach, and being with her children and all of her family.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Trudy Parriman, and Judy Ridner; grandchild, J.E. Dakota Crabtree; daughter in law, Rhonda Crabtree; brothers in law, Calvin “Banty” Taylor and Bob Walstrom..
Survivors include her husband, Danny Crabtree of Whitley City, Kentucky; mother, Katie Rose of Marshes Siding, Kentucky; son, Chad Daniel Crabtree of Whitley City, Kentucky; daughter, Misty Crabtree Hickman (Anson) of Whitley City, Kentucky; brothers, Wayne Rose and David Rose (Barbara) both of Whitley City, Kentucky; sisters, Mary Lou Taylor of Whitley City, Kentucky and Sue Walstrom of London, Kentucky; grandchildren, Travis Hickman and Jade Hickman; great grandchildren, Eli Hickman and Carter Rollins and brothers in law, Bill Parriman and Jim Ridner.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Friday at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Scottie Corder officiating. Burial will follow in the Taylor Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6pm Thursday, September 11, 2025 at the Funeral Home.
