Cathy Lynn Johnson, beloved wife, mom, sister, Gigi, and friend, was born on July 28, 1956, in Dallas, Texas. She entered the gates of Heaven on June 2, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion to her family and friends. Cathy proudly served as the office manager at Inspiration Church in Mesquite, Texas, for 31 years, where her commitment to ministry and serving others touched countless lives.
Cathy's life was enriched by her deep love for family, including her husband, Bob Johnson, to whom she married on April 17, 1976; their cherished daughter and son-in-law, Kelley and Kyle Cavin; grandchildren, Kye and Kace; brother and sister-in-law, Kyle and Karelyn Huddleston; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Barbara Huddleston.
Cathy often enjoyed hobbies such as gardening and home decorating, which showcased her vibrant personality and creative spirit. Her passion for traveling allowed her to create many wonderful memories with her loved ones. Cathy's unwavering faith was a cornerstone in her life, guiding her in all she did and inspiring those around her.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Cathy's life at Inspiration Church, 1233 N. Beltline Road in Mesquite, Texas, on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at 12:30 PM.
Cathy Johnson's warmth, generosity, and radiant spirit will be deeply missed, yet her legacy will continue to shine brightly through those she inspired and loved.
