Cathy Robertson Obituary
A native of Buncombe County, she attended Ebenezer Baptist Church. Cathy worked in food service, but her passion in life was serving her family, whom she loved deeply. She will be greatly missed.
She was the daughter of the late Billy Eugene Rathburn, Sr. and Martha Hall Rathburn. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Rathburn.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Christopher A. Robertson; children: Charles Eugene Robertson (Melissa), Eric Christopher Robertson (Rachael), Amy Marie Robertson (Danny Gilbert), Casey Lynn Robertson, Lloyd Curtis Robertson, Vayda Breann Robertson, and Kastle Drake Robertson; grandchildren: McKenzy Denise Robertson, Jacob Eugen Robertson, Alexander Christopher Robertson, and Noah William Robertson; great-grandchildren: Mason Case Letterman, Sayla Faye Turner, Vayden Xezavier Caldwell, Serenity Nevaeh Caldwell, Trinity Faith Caldwell, and Okami Deannah-Faye Robertson; brother, Billy Eugene Rathburn, Jr. (Storm); and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with Revs. Keith Carson and Ralph Reems officiating. Burial will follow at the Ledford Cemetery in Yancey County.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 until 8 PM at the funeral home.
Anders-Rice Funeral Home and Cremation Center is honored to serve the Robertson family.
