Cathy Davis Walls

Cathy Davis Walls, age 71 of Morganfield, KY passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburg, IN. She was born December 4, 1953 in Sturgis, KY to Jimmy and Carol Davis. Cathy, known as "red" for her fiery red hair, taught English and Special Education at Union County High School. She was also the Director of Special Education Program and retired with 40 years of service in the school system and adult education. She enjoyed traveling, the outdoors and boating. Even though Cathy has left this earth, she is dancing in Heaven.
Known as Mama Cakki to her grandchildren & great grandchildren, she loved her family and grandchildren. Cathy was an avid supporter of the Union County Wrestling Program and was a UK Wildcats Fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James William Davis and Nyra Carol Stone.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield, KY. Rev Noble Cobb will officiate.
Visitation will be 5 – 8 PM Friday and 9 - 11 Am Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Morganfield, KY
