Ms. Ward passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at Olive Homes in Oneonta, Alabama.. She was born September 28, 1953, in Morgan County, to John Thomas Compton and Barbara Sue Lambert Compton.
She was self employed in Home Healthcare and was a caregiver until she became unable to serve in that capacity anymore. She was a very unique lady and enjoyed needlepoint. Her parents preceded her in death.
Survivors include
Daughter - Heather Ray
Brother - John Compton
Sister - Beth Compton
Two Grandchildren - Ella Ray and Savannah Ray
