Cathy Claire Weed

Cathy Claire Weed of Lawrenceville, GA, went to be with the Lord June 24, 2023 at the young age of 43. Cathy was a loving mother, daughter, sister, favorite aunt and friend. She is survived by her beloved son Grayson; mother Phyllis Weed; sisters and brothers in law Sharon and Ron Roberts, Janet and Shannon Sheppard, and Jeff Lovett; nieces and nephews Chris Lovett, Lauren (and Jonathan) Pinner, Charlie Roberts, Collin Roberts, Parker Sheppard and Kylie Sheppard.
While Cathy's life was taken too soon, the people who knew her knew the quality of her life greatly exceeded the quantity. Cathy grew up in Lawrenceville, GA and graduated from Collins Hill High School in '98. She graduated from University of Georgia in '02 with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences, Furnishings and Interiors. Her creative skills led her to kitchen and bath design working for Founders/Ferguson for 17 years. She was a truly sweet and dedicated soul who always put others before herself. To know her was to know her passion for the Georgia Bulldogs and fall football (GO DAWGS!) Possibly the only thing she loved more was being a mother to Grayson and watching, supporting and growing him in sports and community. The passing of Cathy has shocked us all, but in faith we move forward.
Visitation will be held at Thursday, June 29 5:00 – 7:00. Funeral service June 30, 1:00 at Wages & Sons Funeral Home in Lawrenceville.
