She is the cherished daughter of Joyce (Jonkman)
and the late Theodore (Ted) Bear. Dear sister of Timothy and David (Judy) Bear
Loving mother of Joshua and Robert (Sarah) Williams. Devoted Memaw to Caylee, Avery and Tyler.
Born in Hammond, IN, Cathy was raised in Lansing IL. She was a graduate of Thornton Fractional South. Class of 1978. Though her life was short her accomplishments
were many. Received a Black belt in Karate, She was a Den Mother, School Bus driver,
Pearland.
For many years she was a volunteer firefighter. Named rookie of the year for 2 years straight. Cathy was the first female line officer, going on to achieve the rank of lieutenant of Station Two Pearland VFD. Going forward she became the Deputy Fire Marshall of Pearland VFD. While actively working the fire department Cathy attended the College of the Mainland in Galveston to become an advanced accredited Police Officer. She retired as a deputy from the Brazoria County Constables Office PCT 3. Cathy was also a member of the Lions Club of Pearland and Milam, TX.
