It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cathy Lynn Winebrenner, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, who left us peacefully on June 19, 2025, at the age of 62. Cathy lived in Falling Waters, WV, where she filled the lives of those around her with love and laughter.
Born on December 6, 1962 to the late Charles "Buddy" and Margaret (Joyner) Deal.
Cathy was a 1980 Beall High School Graduate. She was formerly employed at Lowes as a sales associate and was the trick of all trades when it came to working jobs. Cathy loved singing, and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers with her family. Above all she loved being a mom to her two children and especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are her devoted husband of almost 45 years, Dale Winebrenner; son, Jamie Winebrenner and wife Mary; daughter, Stephanie Mercer and husband Howie; grandchildren, Brooklyn, Elijah, Olivia, Noah, Mason; siblings, Phillys Osbourne, Ron Deal and Patricia Crossland, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
A public viewing will be held at Durst Funeral Home P.A. on June 28, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, where family and friends will gather to celebrate Cathy's beautiful life. The family asks that those attending consider floral or bright and vibrant colors.
Funeral Service will follow at 6:00 with her nephew, Jim will be conducting the service. Following the funeral, her remains will be cremated with care, and returned to her loving family.
As we remember Cathy, let us celebrate the warmth of her smile, her unwavering kindness, and the joy she brought to every moment. In this time of grief, we invite loved ones to come together to share stories and embrace the love she so freely gave.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a charity of your choice in Cathy's name, continuing her legacy of compassion and support for others.
