Cecil Earl Clements Sr., 83, of Charlottesville, Virginia, died on Saturday, September 24, 2011, at Trinity Mission in Charlottesville. He was born on August 11, 1928, in Charlottesville, a son of the late Everette Lee Clements Sr., and Mary Gertrude Carver Clements. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Sidney Hamilton Clements; and Everette Lee Clements Jr. and his wife. Irma. He worked at Jefferson Pool Room and Becker Small Engine Shop. He was a life-long member of First Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time on the Downtown Mall. He is survived by his fiancee, Violette Hartwell; a sister-in-law, Iris Clements of Charlottesville; three children, Mary Elizabeth Baugher and her husband, Timothy, of Ruckersville; Cecil E. Clements Jr., and his wife, Audra, of Ruckersville, and Edna Broyles and her husband, Daniel, of Rochelle; and ten grandchildren, Kevin Baugher, Timothy Baugher, Steven Baugher, Ashley Clements, C.J. Clements, Tyler Clements, China Jordan, Megan Broyles, Kayla Broyles, and Danny Broyles. He is also survived by seven great- grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2011, at Hill and Wood Funeral Home with the Reverend Mark Long officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2011, at Hill and Wood Funeral Home.
