Cecil Graham, age 77 of Bennettsville, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025, at Veteran’s Village in Florence.

Cecil was born April 29, 1948, in Bennettsville. He was a son of the late Beaufort and Leola Jackson Graham. Cecil was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He served as a military policeman in Germany during his military career. After his military service, he began a career as a truck driver. Cecil eventually retired as a terminal manager for Pope Trucking. In addition to being a terminal manager, he also had a successful lawn care business. Cecil was a â€sjack of all trades.â€t He was always tinkering and building things. Cecil also enjoyed Nascar racing, watching westerns, listening to music, and traveling to the mountains.

Cecil was a longtime member of Thomas Memorial Baptist Church. He faithfully served for a time as a deacon and Sunday school teacher. He enjoyed working with the youth of the church. Cecil was fiercely loyal to his family and devoted to his siblings. He was also very charitable. Cecil was always giving to and helping anyone in need.

In addition to his parents, Cecil was preceded in death by his sisters, Jean Graham Karraker, Linda Graham, Esther Graham McCaughey; and a brother, Beaufort David Graham, Sr.

Cecil is survived by his loving wife of fifty five years, Gerri Harding Graham of the home; daughters, Hope (Jonathan) Dozier of Fayetteville, NC and Mandy (Kevin) Pate of Bennettsville; sisters, Glenda Graham of Pinehurst, NC and Maxie Hinson of Bennettsville; grandchildren, Lola, Luke, Jacob (Rebekah), Jonathan, Jr, Ethan, Nathan, Jenna; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members also survive.

A service to celebrate Cecil’s life will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Thomas Memorial Baptist Church. A burial with full military honors will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Park.

A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025, one hour prior to the service in the church parlor, beginning at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made in Cecil’s honor to Tunnels 2 Towers, www.t2t.org.
