Cecil, age 70, passed away peacefully on Wednesday Feb 18th, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of intelligence, laughter, kindness, and unwavering devotion to his family.
Born on June 19th 1955 in Blossburg, PA, Cecil began his lifelong career with Eastman Kodak Company at just 17 years old, starting right out of high school. Through dedication, hard work, and remarkable talent, he built a respected career as a Draftsman/Designer, earning the admiration of colleagues and friends alike. His work ethic and loyalty were a reflection of the man he was — steady, dependable, and brilliant.
Cecil was one of the smartest people you could ever meet, yet he wore his intelligence lightly. He had a quick wit, a natural humor, and a warmth that made everyone feel welcome. Tall and handsome, he carried himself with quiet confidence. If something needed fixing, building, or figuring out, Cecil could do it. He had a gift for understanding how things worked — and more importantly, how people worked.
Above all else, Cecil was devoted to his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Marla, and his seven siblings: Wanda, Frankie, Judy, Ernie, Candy, Anita, and Ronnie Marie; many nieces and nephews, sister-in-law, Ellen (Mike) Bianchi and brother-in-law Larry Herzog. He shared deep bonds with each of them, and his love for his family was evident in everything he did.
Those who knew Cecil will remember his laughter, his generosity, his steady presence, and the way he made life feel a little lighter just by being there. He leaves behind a family who adored him and countless friends and colleagues who were better for having known him.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
