Cecil Robinson Obituary
Cecil was a devoted husband to his late wife, Lenora Whitner Robinson for 50 years until she passed away in 2018. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Bertha Robinson; sisters, Shirley R. Jones and Alethia Robinson Cousar; brothers; Roy Robinson, Raymond Robinson, Charles Robinson, Jr., Wade Robinson, David Robinson, Anthony Robinson, Cephas Robinson (twin brother), Coleman Robinson and Paul Robinson.
Cecil loved spending time in the kitchen creating delicious meals for his family and traveling. He also loved entertaining friends and telling jokes. His laughter and sense of humor will be missed by those he touched.
He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Stanley Robinson; Aaron Whitner who was reared in the home; grandchildren, Devin (BreeAnn) Taylor and Corey (Naomi) Taylor; great-grandson, Malakai Taylor; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 29, 2025 at New Prospect Baptist Church in Townville, South Carolina. The interment will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing Sunday 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
