Cecile R Gladding, born May 5, 1924, in Laconia, NH, USA, was a beloved mother, dedicated worker, and active community member. Known for her extraordinary resilience and spirit, Cecile lived a life of service and commitment, touching numerous lives along the way.
For many years, Cecile served the Leominster School System, working in the cafeteria and later filing reports to the state. She continued to serve even into her 80s, a testament to her tenacious spirit and unwavering dedication. Cecile was an avid reader, often losing herself in the world of books, and she enjoyed knitting, creating beautiful pieces for her loved ones. She was also a devout member of St. Cecilia's Church, where she found great comfort and community.
Cecile Gladding is survived by her son, Lawrence Gladding, several nieces and nephews, and her cat GG. She was preceded in death by her husband David Gladding and loving parents, Pierre and Zenobia Bolduc.
Cecile's funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Cecelia's Church, 180 Mechanic Street, Leominster, followed by her burial at St. Cecilia's Cemetery, 99 St. Cecilia Street, Leominster, MA 01453.
A calling hour will be held from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. prior to the funeral in the Simard Funeral Home, 14 Walker Street, Leominster, MA 01453.
