Donna Marie (Perry) Wesbecker, age, 71, passed away with family by her side at Baptist Health of Louisville August 12, 2022. Donna was predeceased by her parents, Joseph Robert Perry and Betty Marie (Herr) Perry.
Donna overcame obstacles due to the loss of her leg in 1959 at 8 yrs. old and went on to lead a very productive, happy and successful life; She enjoyed spending time with her family, and loved traveling with her husband; diligently took care of her parents later in life; She was a very caring sibling and aunt to her nieces, nephews, and great nieces/nephews; She enjoyed keeping up with her college friends and family members near and far.
Donna Graduated from Georgetown College in 1973. She worked for the Federal Government since 1973; first with Social Security Administration then moved to Internal Revenue Service; Retired in 2006 as Large Case Group Manager of the Internal Revenue Service.
Survived by her loving and devoted husband for over 45 years, Jerry Wesbecker; sister, Denise Anderson (Chuck) of Louisville; brothers, David Perry (Jerry) of Louisville, Doug Perry (Dorothy) of Hernando, FL; nieces, Shannon Miller (Darrell), Elizabeth Lambert (Jamie) and Claire Anderson all of Louisville, Lisa and Jeanette of Southern Indiana; nephew, Mark Anderson (Carrie Elko) of Northfield, IL; Great-nieces/nephews, Cameron, Isabella, Hunter, Georgia and Grayson all of Louisville; Aunt, Mary Imogene Bird of Louisville and several cousins.
Visitation will be 11am – 1pm Saturday, August 20th at Pearson's, 149 Breckenridge Lane Louisville, KY 40207.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to Baptist Health Louisville Foundation Palliative Care Unit, 4007 Kresge Way, Louisville, KY 40207 or Kosair Charities, 982 Eastern Parkway, Louisville, KY 40217 or kosair.org/donate;
Arrangements under the direction of Pearson's, "Where Louisville Goes To Remember".
