Cecilia Mallory Dortch

Mrs. Cecilia Ann Mallory Dortch, age 57 of Elkton, passed away 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 8, 2025, at her residence. Services for Cecilia will be 12 Noon, Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Latham Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Crawford officiating. A private burial will take place in the Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford, KY. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time for the service Wednesday at Latham Funeral Home.

Cecilia was born November 3, 1967 in Marrero, Louisiana. She graduated from Todd Central High School in 1985. While in high school she served as Field Commander for the Rebel Band. Cecilia earned a Bachelor of Psychology from Western Kentucky University. She was currently employed as the assistant manager of Family Dollar in Elkton. Cecilia loved UK Basketball and taking care of her cats and dogs. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lena Robinson Mallory and her son, Casey Jeremy Dortch in 1999.

Survivors include her father, Cecil Mallory of Elkton, her daughter, Chelsea Dortch of Elkton, and her sister, Angela Little and her husband Tim of Elkton.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be given to the Christian County Animal Shelter, 2935 Russellville Road, Hopkinsville, KY 42240.
