Cecilia Henricks Obituary
Cecilia Delfina Henricks was born on May 7, 1947 in Bogota, Colombia to Cecilia Elizabeth Paez de Rozo and Jesus Alberto Rozo- the middle child of six: George, Daniele, Frank, [Cecilia], Stella, and Helen. The family immigrated to New York in 1956, relocating to Miami, FL, and settling in Burbank, CA by 1967. Cecilia met Michael Edward Henricks in Burbank in 1969 while Mike was on shore leave from the Navy. A quick wedding followed and Cecilia began a path as a career Army/Navy wife, a mother, an elementary school teacher, and an administrative assistant for the FAA. Cecilia was widowed in 2007 when Michael E Henricks passed away. Cecilia herself passed away on June 27, 2025 in her sleep at home under hospice care. Cecilia was proceeded in death by her father and mother, her three brothers, and her sister, Stella Theuer. Cecilia is survived by her sister, Helen Mastopietro, her son, Michael A Henricks, her daughter, Stephanie Henricks, her daughter-in-law, Laura Henricks and her companion, Jim Douglass. She has three grandchildren: Britney Leclair, Ara Hunter, and Devin Henricks, son-in-law, Matthew Leclair, and three great-grandchildren: James Leclair, Maverick Leclair, and Sariah Leclair.
A funeral mass will be held at Sts Joachim and Ann Catholic Church, 4112 McClay Rd, St Charles, MO 63304, on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 10:30 am.
