Our beloved Cedric Acy, 31, of Midland, TX, passed away on December 27th, 2023, after a 3-year long battle with Chronic Kidney Disease, his spirit was bright and his force will be everlasting.
Cedric was born on May 9th, 1992, to Breeyan Acy and Cedric Acy in Dallas, TX at Medical City Hospital. Cedric was loved by many because he never met a stranger with his contagious smile. Cedric was a football athlete that attended and graduated from Oliver Wendell Holmes High school in 2010; he then attended Kilgore College earning a degree in Corrosion Engineering. Following graduation Cedric started working for JW Pipeline where he kick-started his 8-year career including becoming the youngest CP3 in the nation.
Cedric spent his time drawing, acting, dancing, roller blading, freestyling, playing volleyball, and a host of other activities that tickled his tummy.
Cedric was predeceased by Eddie Manley.
He is survived by:
Breeyan (Thomas) Acy - Mother; Marquise Acy - Brother; Heather (Newell) Acy - Sister-in-Law; Ashley Acy - Half Sister; Ky'Ordrick Black - My Buddy ; Ja'Quay Hight - Half Brother; Blake Lynch - Step-Brother; Rebecca Jenkinson - Step-Mother; Marquie Acy - Uncle; Jerry (Joe Wayne) Frances - Great Uncle; Jacqueline Francis - Grandmother; Ruth Standberry - Grandmother; LaQuetta Black - Aunt; LaTeisha Black - Aunt; Ken Thomas - Uncle; Cedric Acy - Father.
He also leaves a host of other family members and friends that loved him dearly in the Dallas, Tyler, Midland, San Antonio and Kansas City areas.
