Sharon Stafford Acy

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Stafford Acy, who died on July 31, 2025, at the age of 81.

Sharon was a beloved family member, friend, and community member whose presence was a part of our lives and shared history.

Sharon has joined her parents, Norman Ellis Stafford and Dorothy Mae McCrory, her brother, James Ellis Stafford, and her sister, Bobbie Rachel Stafford Blouin.

Sharon has left on earth her sister Linda Gayle Stafford Brignac (Larry) of St. Amant, Louisiana; her sister Annette Marie Stafford Sandifer (Kenny) of Central, Louisiana; her brother Alvin Norman Stafford (Nancy) of Smithdale, Mississippi; her sister Kathleen (Kathy) Dale Stafford Causey (Bobby) of Gonzales, Louisiana; her sister Dorothy (Dottie) Lynn Stafford Indihar (Ron) of Crawfordville, Florida; her brother Terry Gene Stafford of Gonzales, Louisiana; her son, Jason Wills (Marsha); her daughter, Amber Acy; nine grandchildren: Jordan (Stephanie), Jacob, Jesse, Austin, Kalyn (Brittany), Trynden, Kyra, Kerstyn, and Kaydence; and one great-granddaughter, Ellie.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 West New River Street, Gonzales, LA 70737, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, with a service at 11:00 and burial immediately following the service at Carpenter’s Chapel Cemetery.
