It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Cedric Nunes Teixeira who died on October 5, 2025.
Cedric was a bright, driven, and compassionate young man with an extraordinary future ahead of him. He pursued his passion for design by studying Architecture at Alfred University, and later worked at Tesla.
Beyond his professional achievements, Cedric was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. He had an infectious smile, a generous heart, and a zest for life that touched everyone he met. Whether he was riding his motorcycle, or spending time with loved ones, he lived each moment with passion, curiosity, and heart.
He is survived by his mother Ana Monteiro, father Simao Teixeira, his 10 siblings, and close relatives, as well as many friends and colleagues who will forever cherish his memory.
A celebration of Cedric's life will be held on October 13, 2025 at the George Lopes Funeral Home, 647 Main Steet, Brockton, MA from 5pm-8pm. The funeral Mass will take place on October 14, 2025 at St. Edith Stein, 71 E. Main Street, Brockton, MA beginning at 10AM. Following the Mass will be the burial at Melrose Cemetery, all who knew and loved him are welcome to attend and honor the incredible person he was.
Though his time with us was far too short, Cedric leaves behind cherished memories, kindness, and lasting impact on everyone who knew and loved him.
