Celesta Harrell Obituary
The visitation will be held in the mortuary on Friday, January 16, 2026 from 2:00PM-7:00PM. The celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 12:00PM in The Potter's House International Ministries, Bishop Vaughn McLaughlin, pastor. The final disposition of burial will be held in the Restlawn Cemeteries South.
She is survived by her children, Ronald A. Jackson and Dariel Harrell (Nathaniel Whitehead, II); grandchildren, Ja'Corey Scott, Davionna Perry, Gabrielle Whitehead, Nathaniel Whitehead, III; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In the time of personal loss, the beloved family has elected to locally entrust the Ministry of Comfort & Care, along with transitional after-care arrangements to Holmes-Glover-Solomon Funeral Directors, Inc.

Celeste was a jewel. My sons admonished her always as a genuine & loving person who they were always blessed to see coming.
May The Lord comfort those who mourn, as we will all miss seeing her smiling face and welcoming demeanor on this side. God is faithful. We love you all family

With a sorrowful yet grateful heart, I send my deepest condolences. Sorrowful because she will be greatly missed and grateful for the privilege of knowing and watching her relationship with Christ grow over the years. I pray that the peace of God covers the family as you process your loss. May God bless and keep each of you. Arlene, I know your heart is broken, but you serve a God that will never leave you nor forsake you so rest in the shadow of His wings, my beloved.
