Celeste M. Jacobson

Celeste M. Jacobson – age 78, beloved wife of Stephen G. Jacobson died unexpectedly, surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 3 at the Lahey Hospital in Burlington.
She was born in Boston on March 26, 1947, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Coronella) Lattanzi and was raised in Somerville and moved to Billerica in 1966.
Celeste was the well-known founder and beloved dance teacher at her studio, Dance Unlimited, and taught generations of children in Billerica for over 30 years. After her retirement from dance, she continued to impact children's lives through her work as the Director of the after school program at St. Margaret School in Lowell. She also worked as the office manager of their local family business J&C Contracting.
Besides her husband, Celeste is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Jacobson of Los Angeles, CA and Amanda Timko, her husband Jared and her granddaughter Nola of Beaufort, SC; her brother, Nicholas Lattanzi of Billerica and her sister, Carol Wemmitt also of Billerica, and several beloved nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, January 10 at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 2-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Cancer Center at Boston Medical, in memory of Celeste. Contributions can be made at bmc.org/giving.
