Celia "Hernandez Moreno" Hernandez

Celia Hernandez, age 75, of Muleshoe, Texas, died Wednesday, September 17, 2025 in Muleshoe. She was born January 26, 1950 in Michoacan, Mexico to Francisco and Eloisa (Moreno) Hernandez. She married Luis Montejano Hernandez in La Poma, Michoacan, Mexico.

Celia loved to cook, especially for her family. She enjoyed listening to Christian music and sewing. She treasured spending time around her family. Celia was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Muleshoe. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Celia is survived by her husband, Luis; her four sons, Gustavo Montejano of California, Luis Montejano of California, Juan Montejano of Muleshoe, Texas and Carlos Montejano of Muleshoe, Texas; her two daughters, Delia Garza of California and Blanca Araceli Montejano of Muleshoe, Texas; her two sisters, Elvia Hernandez of Michoacan, Mexico and Elena Hernandez of Michoacan, Mexico; and her nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
