Mrs. Celia Mae Anderson Inman McCormick, age 84 of Pilot Mountain, passed away Wednesday afternoon January 29, 2025, at Village Care of King. She was born February 4, 1940, in Alleghany County to the late Kelly and Dorothy Boone Anderson. She was a retired registered nurse and a member of Rock House Primitive Baptist Church. Mrs. McCormick loved to sew, cook, can food, and loved to work in her flowers. She would always have the most beautiful colorful Iris’. She also loved to play volleyball and basketball. Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters and sons-in-law, Kelly and Kevin Nunn, and Candace and Jesse Warren; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jeff and Amy Inman, and Greg Inman; eight grandchildren, Jessica and Cory George, Krystal and Jake Phillips, Mazie and Zack Goins, Britney Inman, Mikayla and Alan Young, Kamron and Maria Nunn, Mary Inman, and Wyatt Warren; five great grandchildren, Elijah George, Caroline George, Luke George, Birdie Phillips, and Virgil Young; two brothers, Mack Anderson and JD Anderson; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. McCormick was preceded in death by her first husband, Lefty Grove Inman and her second husband, Charles Ralph McCormick; ten siblings; and by a daughter-in-law, Deborah Inman. Funeral services will be held Monday February 3, 2025, at Rescue Baptist Church at 2:00pm with Pastor Tim Morrison and Pastor Rodney Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in the Inman Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday at the church from 1:00 – 2:00pm.
