Celia J. Stiller, 87, passed peacefully on Friday, January 30, 2026, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend leaving behind a legacy of kindness, grace, and a life shared with family and friends. Those who knew Celia will remember her as gracious, and full of life. She enjoyed traveling with family and friends, and got to see the world in all her travels.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John W. Stiller, Jr.; her son, John W. Stiller, III.; her parents, Federico Juarez and Angela Del Bosque; her siblings, Federico Juarez, Jr., and Humberto “Beto” Juarez; her son-in-law, Raul Garza, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Patricia S. Garza; her grandchildren, Leah (Brandon) Burke, John W. Stiller IV., and Raul Garza, III.; her great-grandchildren, John W. Stiller, V., Johnevan Stiller, and Jenessa Stiller; her siblings, Hilda Stewart, Irma Stiller, and Ramiro Juarez; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.
The family will be receiving condolences on Friday morning, February 13, 2026 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 9 a.m.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday morning, February 13, 2026 departing at 10:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels to St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.
Rite of Committal and Inurnment will follow at the family plot of the Laredo City Cemetery.
