Obituary of Cesideo "Andy" Andrew DiFelice
Cesideo Andrew "Andy" DiFelice, 73, of Tewksbury, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Cambridge, Andy was the cherished son of the late Cesideo and Lorena (Wood) DiFelice. He grew up in Burlington and was a proud graduate of Burlington High School, where he met the love of his life, Marie Doherty. The two shared a beautiful and devoted marriage of nearly 53 years, their anniversary just weeks away on October 7.
Following high school, Andy entered the plumbing and heating trade, a path that would become both his passion and his career. He eventually established and ran his own successful business, DiFelice Plumbing and Heating, known for its reliability and craftsmanship throughout the area.
More than anything, Andy was a family man. He found true joy in fatherhood, actively supporting his children in all their pursuits. Whether it was cheering from the sidelines, applauding at dance recitals, or rolling up his sleeves to volunteer, Andy was always present. He was a proud member of the Redmen Club, where he not only championed youth athletics but also donated his time and talent, most notably plumbing the Tewksbury Field House.
Outside of work and family, Andy enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved traveling with Marie, with favorite trips to Atlantic City, Foxwoods, New York City, and the family camp in Maine. He was an avid golfer and fisherman, often venturing to South Carolina and Florida for his favorite pastimes. Known for his delicious barbecues, Andy loved gathering with friends and family over good food, laughter, and shared memories. When relaxing at home, he could often be found cheering on his beloved Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Marie (Doherty) DiFelice of Tewksbury; his children: Andrew DiFelice and his wife Jennie of Woburn, Marc DiFelice and his fiancée Shannon Adamo of Manchester, NH, Melissa Gaffney and her husband Joe of Saugus, Amy Cardillo and her husband Ronald of Dracut Michelle Black and her husband Bobby of Quincy, and Amanda Clark and her husband Justin of Portland, ME. He was the proud brother of Charles DiFelice and his wife Denise of Florida, the late Robert DiFelice and his wife Allison of Tewksbury, and Lorena Morneweck and her husband Rich of North Carolina. Andy was a fun-loving and devoted grandfather to Kylie Ortolaza, Samantha, Benjamin, and Angela Cardillo, Elizabeth and Nicholas DiFelice, Addison and Christian DiFelice, and Josephine Clark. He will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends, and all those who were lucky enough to know him.
Andy's legacy of hard work, laughter, and unwavering love for his family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed
