Cesidia DiPreta Obituary
Cesidia DiPreta, 86, a Stamford resident for 58 years passed away on January 2,2025 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Settefrati, Italy on September 16, 1938, the daughter of the late Donato and Anna Loretta Fanone.
Cesidia was a very passionate cook, and she also enjoyed to bake, her prize possession was her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Nicola DiPreta in 2020. She will be truly missed by her family.
Cesidia is survived by her loving children, Edda (Patrick) Ferris, Domenico (Rosa Maria) DiPreta and Laura Jaworoski DiPreta (Frank Rivera), her grandchildren, Jessica (Joseph) DiLascio, Amanda (Maciej Kraus) DiPreta, Nicola (Erica) DiPreta, Patrick Ferris, Jr., Dennis Jaworoski, Jr., Sarah Jaworoski, her great-grandchildren Olivia, Luke, Joseph, Stella, and Evan. She is also survived by her siblings; Carmela D'Ambrosio, Gerarda Mancini, Carmine Fanone, and Michele Fanone and many nieces and nephews also survive.
Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday January 7, 2025, from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Lacerenza Macari Family Funeral Home 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford.
