Chad Steven Goldstein, age 52, of Fox River Grove, formerly of Morton Grove, beloved son of Harvey and Sandi (nee Samuels) Goldstein; loving fiancé of Monica Possekel; cherished brother of Scott (Jeanine) Goldstein and Marc Goldstein; adored uncle of Maxwell, Keller, Nicholas, Juliet, and William; dear nephew of Allan (Marsha) Goldstein, Michael (Susie Pearson) Goldstein, and Wesley (Barbara) Samuels; treasured grandson of the late Arthur and the late Nettie Samuels and the late Leonard and the late Evelyn Goldstein; special friend of Joshua (Sharon) Hermann, Dr. Robert (Natasha) Brizzolara, Michael (Kathie) Waks and will be dearly missed by many other friends and cousins.
Chad impressed everyone he met with his intelligence, dry wit, and generous spirit. A quiet man, Chad was comfortable being a part of any gathering and helping others enjoy their time together. He will always be remembered as that rare soul who never had a need, or desire, to impress despite his wide ranging interests and encyclopedic knowledge.
Service Monday, 10:00 a.m. CT at The Chapel, 8851 Skokie Blvd., Skokie (at Niles Center Rd.). The service will be livestreamed on Chad's webpage at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com. Interment Westlawn Cemetery, Norridge. Donations would be appreciated to the Orphans of the Storm Animal Shelter, www.orphansofthestorm.org, Critical Animal Relief Foundation (CARF), www.criticalanimalrelief.org or to a charity of your choice. Info: The Goldman Funeral Group (847) 478-1600.
