We are heartbroken to share the passing of our beloved Chad William, age 36, of Baldwin and Cockeysville, Maryland, on September 20, 2025,

Born in Towson, Maryland, Chad was a charismatic individual who was cherished by all who knew him. He had an incredible smile and a warm, welcoming personality. When he hugged someone, it was done with sincerity. Chad was a wonderful son, beloved brother, cherished nephew, treasured cousin, and dear friend.

An athlete in his youth, Chad later became an avid Baltimore Ravens fan and was a proud graduate of Archbishop Curley High School in Baltimore. He loved spending time with his family and looked forward to family gatherings, where he would share his father's gift for humor and bring smiles to everyone with his lighthearted observations and genuine wit. Chad loved his family and friends deeply and never met a dog or cat he wouldn't shower with affection.

Chad was a remarkable person with a heart of gold, fortunate to be surrounded by supportive and caring family and friends whom he loved with all his heart. His presence had a lasting impact on those around him. Although his time with us was brief, the love and happiness we shared will forever remain in our hearts, as will his kindness, strength, and spirit.

He is survived by his mother, Robin Martz (née Miles), and was predeceased by his father, William Martz. Additionally, he is survived by his sister, Hilarie Martz; his aunts, Janis Ripley and Regina Kaseluris; his partner and friend, Morgan Knight; and many cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit Ruck's Funeral Home in Towson, Maryland, on Sunday, September 28, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, September 29, from 1:00 PM to 4:00pm, with prayers at 2:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making contributions in Chad's memory to the Daniel Torsch Foundation.
