Bruzdzinski Funeral Home, P.A.Keith Edward Kempa, 48, of Baltimore, MD, passed away on November 13, 2025, at Franklin Square Hospital. His unexpected passing was attributed to unknown heart conditions. Born on June 5, 1977, Keith lived a life defined by devotion—to his family, his community, and the passions that brought him joy.
Keith is survived by his loving wife, Erin Kempa, and their three children, Sophia Basso, PFC Joseph Basso, and Lucas Kempa, all of whom were the center of his world. He was the cherished eldest son of Gerarde and Sharon Kempa, and a beloved brother to Stacie Green and her husband, Rob Green. Keith was also the oldest grandchild of Betty Boritz, a role he held with pride.
He will be deeply missed by his in-laws, Harry and Judy Jackson, his sister-in-law Traci Jackson Smith and her husband, Christopher Smith, as well as his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends whose lives he touched.
A 1995 graduate of Archbishop Curley High School, Keith was a proud alumnus and looked forward to continuing that tradition with his son Lucas. His vast knowledge of sports history and unwavering dedication to his beloved Baltimore Ravens and Orioles were well-known among those who knew him best.
Above all else, Keith was a man who put family first. His love for Erin and their children was immeasurable—steady, selfless, and deeply felt by everyone around him. Though his time on Earth was far too short, the impact he made will continue to grow through the many lives he touched. His presence will be missed, but his love will remain a guiding light for those he leaves behind.
Keith will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, December 22nd, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
May his memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.
