Chad Everette Monk, 50, a retired housemover for Bobo & Sons, passed away Sunday morning, January 12, 2025, at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo.
Visitation is 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at the Pine Grove Church of God ROC Bldg. Services are 11:00 am Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at the Pine Grove Church of God ROC with Bro. Jerry Germany officiating. Interment is in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Edinburg.
Chad was born in Philadelphia, MS to Everette and Shirley Stevens Monk. He was a member of Pine Grove Church of God in Edinburg. Chad served in the MS Army National Guard.
Survivors include his parents, Everette and Shirley Monk of Edinburg; a daughter, Macie Cate Monk of Philadelphia; 2 sons, Tyler Chad Monk (Macie) of Philadelphia and Brandon Johnson of Los Angeles, CA; a brother, Michael Glen Monk (Amber) of Edinburg; and a grandchild, Karter Monk of Philadelphia.
Pallbearers are: Chris Stevens, Bob King, Paul Tingle, Tim Bobo, Glenn Kemp, and Ben Stovall.
