Chad A. Montgomery

Chad Arron Montgomery was born on April 7th, 1975, in Drumright Oklahoma to Kent & Rita Montgomery. He departed this life on February 24th, 2026, in Stroud Oklahoma. Chad was a graduate of Drumright High School class of 1993. He married his first wife Cathy Montgomery in July of 1991 and had their daughter Brittany in October of that year and a second daughter, Kyra, in June of 1994. He would later marry Angela Eubanks who had their son Arron Eubanks in January of 2006.

Chad enjoyed spending time outside tinkering with different projects, riding his horse Whiskey, fishing and most of all enjoying the beautiful Oklahoma sunsets. He loved to watch old westerns, listen to county music and watch his Oklahoma Sooners play. When his girls were younger, he enjoyed watching them play sports and attending their various activities throughout school and was excited when his grandchildren began playing sports that he could attend as well.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Otis & Carlice Montgomery, maternal grandparents Raymond & Lial Medlock, parents Kent & Rita Montgomery, his stepmother Teri Montgomery, and uncle Brent Montgomery.

He is survived by his 2 daughters Brittany Penrod and husband Tyler, Kyra Penny and husband Nick; Son, Arron Eubanks; 3 grandchildren Presley Penny, Lakelyn Penrod & Cecil Penny; Bother, Shane Montgomery and wife Tina; Cousins, Carissa Harman and husband Mark, Darrell Medlock and wife Mari Ann, Keri Jo Sowards and husband Tim; Uncle, Junior Medlock and wife Suzie; Aunt, Carlene Montgomery. Chad is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A come and go celebration of life will be held on Saturday March 21st, 2026 from 11-2pm in the banquet room of Joseph's in Drumright.
