Chad Reuther 50 passed away on Monday May 26,2025 from cardiac arrest. Chad was an organ donor. He was born on December 9, 1974 in Ogden, Utah to Paul and Cathy Kennedy Reuther.

Chad was a special son, brother and father. His son Jansen was born Dec 7, 2002 and was the light of his life. We hope that one day he'll have grandchildren and they'll learn how great a man he was.

Chad grew up in Roy and Hooper, Utah. He graduated from Roy High in 1993.

Chad was a member of Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union local 140 for 31 years. He was employed by CCI Mechanical, for 16yrs, at the time of his passing.

Growing up he was involved in little league sports. He played football and baseball in high school. He was a devoted father. He coached or helped coach his son's little league baseball and football teams. He attended his son's wrestling matches.

He had many friends through the years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. We have fond memories of hunting, fishing and camping trips. Later in life he got into trap shooting and was a member of the Ogden Gun Club. He was always happy to help anyone in need, friend or stranger. He showed us all how to live a life of selflessness and kindness.

He was a loyal friend to all, especially to one of his best friends, Jeremiah, who he now joins in heaven.

Chad is survived by his son Jansen Reuther, parents Paul and Cathy Reuther, brother Joey (Nicole) Reuther and sister Nicole Reuther. Aunts and Uncles, Cheryl and Joe Georgusis, Paulette Popkin, Roseann and John Fritzges, Diana and Joe Adams, nieces and nephews and many cousins and friends.

The family would like to send their heart felt thanks to the ICU staff at Ogden Regional Medical Center and the first responders from Roy City.

So with you. Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.
