Chad Schultz Obituary

Chad Jerad Schultz, 38 of Winona, died unexpectedly on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Gundersen Health System.

Chad was born April 11, 1985 in La Crosse to Daniel and Lisa (Speth) Schultz.  During his childhood, he served as an altar boy at St. Casimir Parish.  He graduated from Winona Senior High in 2003.  In 2009, he married Jenna Carducci and they had one daughter, Avery in 2012.  They later divorced.  In 2016, he met Ally Glowczewski.  They had a daughter, Regan in 2020 and on December 7, 2023 they were married.

Throughout the years, Chad worked at Winona Health in the kitchen and supply chain and most recently at Fastenal as a project coordinator.

Chad was an avid bowler, often traveling for bowling tournaments with a great group of friends.  He also enjoyed softball, basketball, golf, fishing and hunting with his dad.  His girls were the light of his life and he loved them more than anything.

He will be forever loved and missed by his wife, Ally; daughters, Avery (and her mom, Jenna) and Regan; parents, Dan and Lisa Schultz; grandmother, Sally Schultz; parents-in-law, John & Jenny Glowczewski; brother-in-law, Michael (Cory) Glowczewski; Ally’s grandparents, Terry & Sandy Wineski; aunt, Linda Zahn; uncle, Bill (Nancy) Schultz as well as many cousins, other relatives and several great friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Schultz and Norbert & Rose Speth as well as aunts and uncles and Ally's grandparents, William and Susan Glowczewski.

A celebration of Chad’s life will be 1 p.m., Friday, March 29, 2024 at Wellington’s Pub & Grill, led by Funeral Celebrant Jen Corcoran.  Following the service a gathering of friends and family will be from 2-5 p.m.  Please dress casual and wear your favorite Minnesota team apparel as Chad would want it.
