Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Chadrick Ray Coker, 43, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 20, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Wade Coker and Neil Wigley officiating. Interment will follow in the Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens in West Monroe, LA.
Chad was born on August 26, 1979, in West Monroe, LA and passed away on July 16, 2023 at his residence in West Monroe, LA. He was an exceptional family man with a servant’s heart who loved the Lord. Chad’s family was the center of his life and he loved them with all his being. He was a devoted husband to Amanda and a very active participant in Logan and Katelyn’s lives and activities. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and was a West Monroe High School Volleyball Dad. Chad was passionate about cooking for family and friends and anything LSU. He was the perfect host for any occasion, always making everyone feel welcome. Anyone who knew Chad loved him. He will be greatly missed by many. Chad is preceded in death by his grandparents, Billy Ray and Ernestine Coker, and Fred and Lou Ledger and by his brother-in-law, Cody Rainwater.
Survivors include his wife, Amanda Kay Coker; children, Logan Ray and Katelyn Paige Coker; parents, Ray and Kay Coker; brother, Tony Coker; father and mother-in-law, Phil and Joyce Toups; sister-in-law, Christy Hornsby and husband, Chad; nephews, Jacob and Brandon Hornsby, and Owen Faulk; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a special group of “friends in low places”; and his dog, Asher.
Pallbearers will be Heath Heisler, Brian Crow, Coty Gilliam, Chris Davis, Drew Coker, and Nathan Coker. Honorary Pallbearers will be David Afeman, Mario Leija and Steve Fullilove.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until Service Time on Thursday, July 20, 2023.
