Chance Trip Obituary
Chance Landyn Trip, age 43, of Schertz, Texas, passed away on September 26, 2023, in San Antonio. Chance was born in Hondo, Texas on March 14, 1980, to Joni and Harold A. Trip.
Chance is preceded in death by his grandparents: Mildred and Ralph Hancock, and Clarence “Cap” Wernette; uncle: Blake Wernette; and stepfather: Robert “Bob” Gregory.
Chance is survived by his wife: Nicole Hampton; daughter: Jaxson Trip; parents: Harold A. Trip (Renee), and Joni Gregory; sister: Brooke Kaupert (Jason); and brothers: Shane Trip, Trey Trip (Kenzie), and Trint Trip (Shannon).
A visitation will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 12:00 p.m. at Hondo Funeral Home.
Services are under the direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
