Chandler James Moore, age 21, of Joplin, Missouri, passed away on May 16, 2025.
Chandler was born on December 19, 2003, at St. John's Hospital to Miranda Christensen and James Moore. He grew up in the Joplin area and attended Joplin High School. After high school, he began working as a landscaper for Mt. Hope Cemetery. He later worked at Medicalodges in Columbus, Kansas. The elderly held a special place in his heart, and he spent countless hours putting others' needs before his own.
Chandler enjoyed playing basketball at Cunningham Park, fishing, dancing, and listening to music. He was a collector of sneakers, and anyone who knew Chandler knew he always had the best shoe game. He was extremely humble and always looked out for all the girls in his family. Full of life, humorous, loving, caring, and protective, Chandler had a huge heart and always wore a smile on his face.
He was a believer in our Lord Jesus Christ and loved God deeply.
Chandler is survived by his mother, Miranda Christensen-Bledsoe, and her wife, Keri Bledsoe; his sisters, Annika Moore and Adeleigh Christensen, his father, James Moore; and his children, Kinsley Kane, Harper Kane, and Jaxson Moore; he is also survived by a niece, Azlynn, and a nephew, Brexton; maternal grandmother, Jeannie Christensen; paternal grandparents, Robert and Melissa Bradshaw; aunts, Ashley Christensen, Shelby Wilson, Reannah Bird, and Savanah Bird; uncle, Brent Bradshaw; and his longtime girlfriend, Michaela Newman.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at King Jack Park.
