Chaney Asad Jones was born on January 10, 2001, in Augusta, Georgia to Crystal Jones and Chauncee Jones. He departed this earthly journey on March 30, 2024.
Chaney began his education in the public schools of Aiken County, South Carolina and completed his primary education in Fulton County, Georgia. At an early age, he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at Macedonia Baptist Church in Augusta, Georgia. After relocating to Atlanta, Georgia, he was a member of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church.
Chaney was an entrepreneur. His love for music birthed the gift of producing. Chaney would spend countless hours in the studio, mixing and mastering. He loved his family and friends as they were all very important to him. He had a kind soul and was always willing to help others. He had a heart for the unfortunate and those who were homeless.
Chaney was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jimmy Jones, Sr.
Chaney leaves to cherish sweet memories his mother, Crystal Jones of Grovetown, GA; father, Chauncee Jones, Sr. of Beech Island, SC; two brothers, Chauncee Jones, Jr. of Grovetown, GA and Keegan Ross of North Augusta, SC; maternal grandparents, Gloria Harris of Ridge Spring, SC and Eddie F. Harris of Atlanta, GA; paternal grandmother, Ethel Jones of Beech Island, SC; two aunts, Paula (Emerson) Ashley of Alpharetta, GA and Patrice (Samual) Foresman of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico; one uncle, Jimmy Jones, Jr. of Beech Island, SC; two special friends, Keith Jones and Kaylah Isaacs both of Aiken, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
