CHARLENE HODGES
Charlene Hodges, 72, Eldon, MO formerly of Centralia, MO passed away Friday, January 17, 2025, at the Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO. She was born March 22, 1952, the daughter of the late Charlie and Marjorie (Allen) Biven. She was first united in marriage to Dale Rybolt and later was united in marriage to Charles Hodges, both preceded her in death.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one son William Rybolt and his wife Sunshine of Eldon, MO; one sister; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and both husbands, her son Dale Cornine preceded her in death.
Charlene first worked as a beautician, then as a seamstress, later for a Home Cleaning Company and finally as a supervisor for the Fulton State Hospital in Fulton, MO. She was a member of Rocky Fork Church and enjoyed quilting, sewing, cooking, and fishing. Charlene was literally a Mr. fix it and loved spending time with her friends and family, especially all of her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until service time on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Oliver Funeral Home, P.O. Box 125 Centralia, MO 65240. Condolences may also be made to the family at www.oliverfuneralhome.net
