Charlene A. Kienitz, 80, of Muscoda was called home to be with her Heavenly Father on August 30, 2025.
Charlene was born on July 9, 1945 at the Boscobel Hospital the daughter of Charles and Irma (Raether) Gray.
She graduated from Muscoda High School in 1963. On December 28, 1963, she married James Kienitz. They had two sons, Dean and Todd.
During their 55 years of marriage, Charlene and Jim lived in Fond du Lac and later in Berlin. Upon retirement the couple returned to Muscoda.
Charlene loved to ride motorcycle, spending time with her family whom she dearly loved, being active in her church, and playing with her "fur baby" their kitty Zeba. Charlene and Jim enjoyed going to German Fest with her family.
Charlene is survived by her two sons Dean (Doug Gilchrist), Todd (Kim), 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, cousins, many friends and beloved kitty Zeba.
Charlene was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jim, and sister Virginia 'Ginger' Morrey.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Muscoda. Visitation will be held at St. Peter's Lutheran Church on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Avoca Cemetery. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements. Online condolences may be made at prattfuneralservice.com
