Charlene Tedford

Charlene Farah Tedford, age 89, passed away on December 1, 2025. Funeral Services will be held at 10 am Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Heartland Funeral Home in Early, with interment to follow at Bangs Cemetery.
Charlene was born on December 2, 1935 in Ft. Chadbourne, Texas, to Cap and Arah Blair. She attended school and graduated in Crane, Texas. Charlene then went on to marry JD Tedford in 1954 in Grand Falls, Texas and began a life together that blessed them with 3 children.
Charlene loved the Lord, reading her bible, her family, and she enjoyed playing volleyball throughout her life. She was a great cook and loved jigsaw puzzles. She worked for many years in Brownwood as a cosmetologist, a bank teller at Citizens National Bank, and in home healthcare.
Charlene is survived by her son, Tracy Tedford and wife Starla of Brownwood, TX; her daughter, Syree Boulter and husband Jim of Denver City, TX; daughter-in-law Cherri Tedford of Brownwood; her grandsons, Casey Carlisle and wife Kailei of Brownwood, TX, and Ethan Boulter and wife Kaija of Abilene, TX; granddaughter, Kali Tedford and husband Liam Edlinger of Kyle, TX; great granddaughters Avery Carlisle of Austin, TX and Aurelia Boulter of Abilene, TX; and great grandson Tanner Carlisle and wife Morgan of Corsicana, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cap and Arah Blair; her husband, JD Tedford; son, Johnny Tedford; brother, Kenneth Blair; brother James Blair; and her sister, Darlene Stewart.
