Charles Wayne Allen of Benton, Kentucky died March 12, 2025 at Lake Way Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Charles was born July 13,1944 to Selbert and Carrie (Bufford) Allen of Marshall County.
While proudly serving in the United States Army, he married his sweetheart Glenda "Tubbs" Allen.
Charlie and Glenda made a life in Marshall County where they went on to raise 3 children as well as their grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He always kept himself busy whether it was working in autobody, fishing, attending ballgames, or spending time with his brothers.
He is survived by his children Robin Wadsworth (Dwayne) of Benton, Richie Allen (Michelle) of Benton, Russell Allen (Amanda) of Tiline; one brother Curtis Allen (Carolyn) of Benton; grand-children, Brandy McLeod (Justin), Justin Wadsworth (Nicole), Lindsey Edwards (Will), Cody Allen (Hillary), Trevor Allen, Milly Wadsworth and Kyler Allen; great-grandchildren, Macy McLeod, Brooklyn Oliver, Madyn McLeod, Kinlee Wadsworth, Braylee Copeland, Shyanne Edwards, Summer Edwards, Cooper Allen, Noah Edwards, and twins Charlie and Annie Allen.
Preceding him in death was his wife of 57 years, Glenda, and his siblings; Jerry, Glen, Larry, Betty, Hazel, and Dottie.
Friends may visit with the family Saturday, March 15, 2025 between 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Collier Funeral Home, 211 W 5th St, Benton, KY.
